Privacy policy

Updated 11 October 2026. OurSQL is a SQL learning workspace provided by Rakibul Hashan Rabbi. This policy covers the website and its Android browser-based app.

Your SQL data stays in your browser

OurSQL runs its database engine on your device. Databases are saved in IndexedDB. Query history, preferences and scoped drafts use browser storage; Crowfoot diagrams use their own local storage. OurSQL does not send these contents to an application database server, and has no account system or analytics SDK. Local data is not a secure encrypted vault.

Network requests and hosting

The app downloads its code, engine and assets from the hosting service. Hosting providers, including Vercel for oursql.vercel.app, may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses, browser information and access logs under their own policies. Android uses a compatible browser, whose privacy settings and services apply. The Android package does not introduce advertising or analytics SDKs.

Files and external links

Import reads files you choose locally. Export downloads files to your device. Links to Buy Me a Coffee, LinkedIn, Facebook and the creator website open external services; their policies apply when you visit them. OurSQL does not process your payment information.

Delete or keep your data

Export a backup before clearing site data. Use your browser's site-data controls for oursql.vercel.app to remove saved databases, history and diagrams. Uninstalling the Android package may leave data in the browser; clear the site's browser data separately. Browser storage may also be removed by private browsing, storage cleanup or device reset.
